Author Topic: Do any of you follow fire and building codes?  (Read 953 times)

I have no idea why, but I always follow the fire and building codes.  External doors open out and all that sort of stuff.

Idk, seems weird to me to not do it.

i never really knew all the building codes, but i always have my doors open outward.

Sure do.  Also:
  • Alternative to stairs for handicapped persons.
  • Most rooms (all bedrooms) have at least two ways out (one door, one window).

I usually have two forms of egress from every room.

I never consider this really...
My buildings are problem some of the least health-and-safety oriented ever.

They would all likely have to be condemned in real life...

I have actually never once thought of this. That would be fun to try, though.

CityRP need something that can detect this.

Then everyone's buildings will be failed.

Nah they should just have it so one of the admins goes around and checks all the houses and if they don't meet the code they get deleted.

Or something. I actually don't know how fire codes work irl because I am stupid.

They should also have building zones

Doors opening out is just common sense to me.

Yeah cause not many doors open inward into a house, and I like mine going outward so it's not all cluttered inside.

Wtf are fire and building codes.

I'm guessing like, the regulations for having a building.
In this case, fire exits, and how doors swing outward instead of inward, and how every bedroom requires a window to be fire safe.
 Building safety stuff bro.

External doors open out and all that sort of stuff.
I always do that.
