I live approximately 200 miles from London.

Devon is a county in the South West of England.
I live in the north of Devon where there aren't any cities. (Exeter and Plymouth are the only two cities in Devon).

London is only really bad I suppose if you're living there in the rougher areas.
It's like every capital city. It has its worst parts and its best parts.
But if you're in London City and doing the touristy thing you'd always be alright.

But there are plenty of great places around England that I'd like to go to aswell.
The city of Bath would be interesting, so would Cambridge and Canterbury and I'd quite like to go to York too.
Basically anywhere that is Roman or Historic.

I'd rather not venture to Liverpool and Manchester though...

Windsor Castle. It's about a 20 minute drive from the outskirts of London. Also, if you have time, go see the art museum by Tralfalgar Square. I forget the name, but the art was beautiful.
