So right now I'm about to start a free trial for Sony Vegas, and I thought that as long as I have it, I should do something with it that will help me even after the trial ends- something like a new youtube intro. However, my problem is that I'm not the most creative person around, so does anybody have any ideas for a new intro? I'm starting to learn how to use Blender as well, so that can help.

How about splashscreens?
Intros make me angry unless you're Totalbiscuit because his is actually good.

Dont have it any longer than 4-5 seconds. IMO, just have some fancy text fly in, then fly back out. 3D, spin, whatever. Just make it quick and simple, not too noisy, and not have too many colors in the BG.

After hearing the few people saying they don't like intros, that's what I'm thinking. I'm working on a 1 or two second little Blender animation of a big PF spinning, and then it'll end. Does that sound good?

i never use intros on my "professional" videos on other accounts, mainly because they waste time to make and they waste time in the video.
just stick your name in a corner if you really want to and call that that.

I don't really want a logo as a sort of "signature" or anything like that, I just find it fun. And it adds a little to my videos that wasn't there before, so I at least want maybe a one or two second thing,

Edit- hmm, I'm having issues with Blender.. I hit render animation, and after a few minutes it seemed to have finished rendering. So I go to the animation, and it's just a video of pitch black darkness for 3 seconds.. Any idea what's going on?
Meh I guess it's just a glitch, It'll be done in a second
