because some fake things look really real. Also the trailer shows barely any violence. Watch the fanmade trailer by juncha, it shows a lot more of the killing.

I'm the same as you and trust me, Battle Royale isn't gross like that. It does have blood but nothing gory as far as I can remember, don't worry about it bro.

You can't change disturbing subject matter, but you can determine your tolerance to it. I personally haven't seen Battle Royale, but I know from experience that stuff's only as bad as you make it.
