I never understood groundings.
Some kids need to grow a backbone and be able to passively tell their parents to forget off. I did it all the time (And consequently hadn't been grounded since I was like 13), and still do occasionally, and my relationship with my parents is all the better for it.

You're an idiot. Know your place.
Are you one of those submissive types?

When Im at home I should be allowed to voice my opinion, I should not have to worry about being punished for wanting to share mine.

that's just not how it works in some households.

It's not your home.

It's not your home.
I never said I owned my house.

Maybe you need to realize its still my home. When someone rents a house that doesn't make it their house, but it is where they live, so it is their home.

Just because it's your home doesn't mean you have the right to everything. Your parents set their own rules, and you have to follow them, dammit. They don't have to follow the god-damned constitution.

I follow rules. The forget makes you think Im some damn rebel?

if one of your parents' rules is "don't say you dislike my cooking," you need to find new parents

This, and my mom complains all the time kind of sounds like the OP's.
WTF EVERYONE HAS SAME MOM

"Wah I hurt my leg so I no longer can do the simple chores that my mother has me do.  Life is so hard.  Did I mention Wah?"

First world country problems. Compared to most parts of the world you are considered lucky. Grow a pair.

well you're not lucky here
if people in general really did honestly give a forget about homeless people or little starving african kids, there would be none of either
in the united states (and any other developed country), the average person does have food, does have a home, and does have an education
so no, you are not lucky just because you have them, you are unlucky if you don't

Make it look like an accident.

I am more than certain that more of the world is poor and doesn't have these things. We are lucky, we did not determine where we were born.

Pfft.  OK, go help some homeless African children then.
