Anyone else regularly use their bicycle to commute? Personally I think the best for commuting is a 700C hybrid or road; you really can't go wrong. The frame height is perfect and you can get going super fast with very little effort.

I rode my bike to school and back (bout 8km) every day since i started highschool 4 years ago.
Also my friend got hit by a bus one day riding back (no serious injuries) but I ride home with him almost every day and I was meant to be there but I had detention.
Detention saved me from being hit by a bus.

I ride my bike, but for BMX, usually not to get places, everything is close enough for me so I can walk.

i would never ride my bike on any road in nsw

too dangerous, cyclists are basically targeted here

Backroads are more fun for riding anyways.
