Author Topic: How to open a dedicated server?  (Read 573 times)

I've been trying to open a dedicated server, but I can't find the file to open one in my Blockland folder. Could someone help me figure this out?

I think that on the Blockland setup you had to check install the dedicated server shortcuts, you probably need to reinstall it. If it's not that then i don't know.

add "-dedicated -map bedroom" to the launcher shortcut, without the "s

add "-dedicated -map bedroom" to the launcher shortcut, without the "s

So just add "dedicatedmapbedroom" to "BlocklandLauncher"?

no, "-dedicated -map bedroom"

I think I'm doing something wrong. I'm adding -dedicated -map bedroom" to "BlocklandLauncher" 's title, but when  I launch Blockland, there's no Dedicated server in the ordinary server list or in the LAN list. What am I doing wrong? Should I have mentioned I'm on a Mac?

Make sure there is a space before "-dedicated" so it reads:  C:\Blockland\BlocklandLauncher.exe -dedicated

guys
he's on a mac, this forgets everything up

Bump. Could anyone help me with this?

it seems like you're literally changing the file name

you have to use launch options

doing whatever you do on a mac to use launch options (a shortcut or command prompt or something)

it'd be something like this

/Applications/BlocklandLauncher.app/Contents/MacOS/BlocklandLauncher -dedicated -map skylands
