I'm disgusted with invisible children and all my loving activists friends so i ranted a little and i feel to share it here too.
Am i the only one disgusted that a charity is using people (invisible children) to give them support to drill OIL in uganda? no they don't care about Kony, he hasn't been funded and he's been kicked out of Uganda. They refuse to show the US government their money income/outcome chart to show where they give all their money. The most they've recorded of giving to Uganda is 2% of their profits. most of it goes to their studio, film making, and other stuff that concerns them. Now, steamrolling behind is a big company wanting to pump oil and other precious minerals out of Uganda and to do that they need clearance from uganda. Hence why Invisible children is getting you to buy all these STOP KONY merchandise, funding the company to bribe the Ugandan government into pumping oil. Chase Bank contributed $1 million to Invisible Children to help them produce the KONY 2012 campaign, among other programs. JP Morgan Chase is also a major investment banker of Tullow Oil. You're probably thinking, 'the oil company that needs US troops to get oil in uganda?' And you're spot on.
