need help with GTA IV simple native trainer

i got everything installed fine, got from here: http://www.gtagaming.com/downloads/gta-iv/script-mods/2115
dragged everything into the GTAIV directory.

start the game, press F3. the trainer pops up, but i cant use 8 and 2 to scroll up/down. some key bindings for it work but not all of them

anyone have an idea on how to get it to work?
