ghhghggghhhhh how about no
the fandom killed this for me immediately, in a shockingly similar manner to homosuck

After going to conventions and constantly seeing people cosplaying personified countries, I decided to check this out. After the third episode, so basically 15 minutes in, I have a raging headache. To this day, Hetalia is one of the only anime I have ever dropped. I'm sure it's a great series, if I stop taking it seriously.

I like to think a majority of the Hetalia fans moved from Hetalia to Homestuck in the last year and a half, but gradually. Also, will I be seeing you at the end of the month?

i have no idea what is going on and i am half way in the first episode

i need to brush up on my geography and history
Hetalia is how I learned about very many other countries like Sealand. stuff I never knew there was a country that big.

I find it nice how they don't present Germany like a tight ass national socialist worshipping fanatic.

I was thankful also. However some fanart puts him in national socialist uniforms, but, that's just fanart.
I'm also glad to know he's not all like "LISTEN WE NEED TO TAKE THIS COUNTRY AND CONTINUE EXECUTING JEWS"

Looks quite interesting, prolly check it out when my internet stops going at the speed of a turtle.
A dead turtle.

I love this, I was wondering if I was the only one who watched it

Each and every character is a poor representation.

It's not meant to be serious.
It's mostly based on stereotypes which makes the show much more funny

all these weeaboos at my school are obsessed with this anime

I think people actually take this show more seriously than they should then.

Australia
A character added to the cast in 2009. He owns a pet koala and has thick eyebrows, along with an adhesive bandage across his nose. Australia appears to have a hairstyle similar to Austria's (but with two ahoge instead of one), that references the similar English spellings of their nation names. In most of his appearances, he appears to wear a WWI-era Australian Digger 's uniform.
