Author Topic: POCKET EDITION  (Read 1451 times)

Do the creator of blockland, I think it would be epic if you create a pocket edition of blockland. For example, you can put it in the AppStore so we can play blockland on our iPods or iPads. If you want some ideas mine craft created a pocket edition so you can get some ideas from their game design.

that would be cool.

but i dont think its possible.

BTW Make it so that we can use our authentic codes that we use for the PC version of blockland. That way we don't have to buy it again.

It would be but you won't be able to pla online but local wifi if still cool

well
I think it IS possible

Minecraft has a pocket edition, and it has the same controls as blockland.

hmm...

How do I tell Badspot or someone like him about this

Well this will never happen, your telling Badspot to look at Minecraft Pocket Edition which is very boring compared to the PC games. Even with that, loading games and things will take forever....I could go on, hostong, no add-ons.....

Stuff like this has been suggested many times. It's very, and I mean very doubtful that Blockland will ever be on another platform.

I'm just saying it would be cool if they did do it and really fun

It's not like he can completley copy the game on the computer and put it on a phone or tablet thing.
It would be a lot more different

i can come up with some defult controll buttions but even then i dont think its posible i think it would be cool thow

there was a few topics on this, it's not going to happen

unless you completely rewrite everything from scratch, this is what he has to do to do this:
1) Make entire game 2D (Which also means going to a newer engine (T2D))
2) Convert the T2D project into an iT2D
3) Release on appstore (cost about 200$ i think?)
when you think about it:
it's not happening.

However PC Minecraft is written in Java, Minecraft's "pocket edition" is written in C++.

If Blockland where to go onto mobile devices or different console the developers might have rewrite Blockland on a different engine and/or different language.
