Author Topic: TINGE: OR HOW I STOPPED USING LOWERCASE AND LOVED CRUISE CONTROL  (Read 6696 times)

Ok stupid joking pun title aside,

What is Tinge?

Tinge is the story of hairy exploits, stuff getting real and comedy that centers around a main cast of 6 people, with many other secondary characters. Not many many, though. Just a little many.

The main premise is that the good guys (the main 6 and friends) fight some bad guys (The Prophets) while doing some sweet stuff and hella awesome stunts, as well as a few side stories that fill in gaps here and there.

There isn't a consistent resolution, however it will mostly be 128 by 64 resized to 512 by 256 for larger images.

I'm really hoping this can go on for a while because I have alot of cool ideas and content prepared for this already, so feel free to bump and suggest to your heart's content, because every suggestion will be considered as long as it follows the rules..

Also, this will be the first Blockland adventure to include VIDEOS because I'm cool like that.
it will also be the first one to have a decent amount of updates >:C

Rules:
1. Anybody can submit suggestions. HOWEVER they must be rational, though if they're funny enough I'll do them anyways. Suggestions that would obviously result in Self Delete will not be done, and ones that kill an important character will be left to me to decide if I use it or not.

2. No fighting. Take your stuff somewhere else, this is for updates and suggestions, not uprisings and stuffstorms.

3. I will sometimes do my own "suggestions" updates with large multi-panel updates. Deal with it. Suggestions will still be taken if they are good enough, though.

4. There's no fourth rule why am I even

INVENTORIES:

So without further ado,

This dude's name is Jeffery.

He is 22, just moved in and hosted a party. He had some Mountain Dew at the party and he saved a can for himself for the next day, but it has been stolen! Not much of a problem, since he could just buy more, but this crap has been happening alot lately (especialy in the building he's in, some punk lost his milkshake a while ago and some chick lost her favorite soccer ball or something) and he's decided he's gonna put an end to this.

To the left of him is

His closet and some posters.

To the right is

His tubs of Legos. He loves Legos like hobos love food. Aka alot. Also there's his bathroom.

And infront of him is

3 windows and a computer set-up.

Alright. So with a decent overview of the room, you know what you've got to work with. What shall you do?

Jeff is too pissed at the thief to jack off.

>only one with a decent amount of updates
um excuse me

anyways examine the mushroom on the dresser

>only one with a decent amount of updates
um excuse me

I was joking because alot of adventures I've seen update like once a week and that's dumb.

Jeff examines his mushroom shaped lamp. Mushrooms are pretty cool, though it's just a temporary fix until you get a cooler lamp.

I wonder where we've seen these windows before.

That is actualy a plot point further developed later on with refrences and tie ins to MASFMM and stuff, and because he lives in the same building.

But I'll go mess with them if it makes you happy.

Anyways keep sending in suggestions.

this is the best story ive seen in community projects

Jeff looks in the top drawer

4 Imagination Ingots and 3 pieces of Mental Cloth. Sweet!

He then inspects the second

Just clothes. :c

He opens the third.

There is nothing.

He then opens the doors to his closet.

Pretty much everything is just thrown on the floor, with few shirts remaining hung.

Hey it looks like someone's messaging you on Steam. Let's go introduce another "main 6" character talk to them.

are you using paint.net or something?
if so when you rotate images (for example the posters) make sure the morphing is set to pixelated instead of smooth, or at least try to flatten and sharpen it.

I know, I borrowed the posters from Menen's Milkshake because refrences are cool and I'm lazy.

Anyways,

Quote from: Chatlog
Soundwave (The Other Guy): dude, someone jacked my soundboard.
Altercation (Tim): Whoa, someone stole something from me too!
Soundwave: yeah, it's been happening alot lately. the jerk stole some of my recording equipment earlier this month.
Altercation: Sounds bad.
Soundwave: yeah, i've had enough. gonna go find him/her and get my stuff back.
Altercation: Hey I was going to do that too, just with more violence involved.
Altercation: So do you want to hunt them down?
Soundwave: heck yes. i'll be there in a sec. though we might need weapons. blasted prophets are everywhere.
Altercation: I know, they're worse than Jehovah's Witnesses!
Soundwave: i don't know about that. JHs are pretty annoying.
Soundwave: anyways I'm gonna go see alex for a gun. time to be the law!
Altercation: Alright, see you in a sec.
Soundwave is now offline.

So that's pretty cool; you've got a team member now. But you need a weapon. You decide to use those imagination ingots in your drawer for a weapon. What will you make?

With one ingot you can make:
Sword
Short Spear
Brass Knuckles

With two you can make:
Dual Swords
Dual Short Spears
Slingshot
Long Spear

With three you can make:
Nunchucks
Katana
Claymore
entrepreneur  Cane

With all four you can make:
9mm Handgun and a spare magazine
Bow and Arrow
entrepreneur  Staff
Uzi, but with no spare magazine.

So you can have better weapons at the cost of ingots which could prove to be useful later.
Majority rule dictates which weapon will be chosen.

katana is obviously the best one there

Bow and Arrow: is it only one arrow lol
