Author Topic: Is there a way past the mandatory 20 phys vehicle limet?  (Read 1512 times)

And I've been wandering, a while back I threw in a suggestion to make squads in Slayer, you said you'd consider it. Any chance you'll put it in?
It hasn't been started on yet but it's still on my list of possible stuff. https://bitbucket.org/Greek2me/slayer/issue/9/squads-factions

Put $Pref::Server:MaxPhysVehicles_Total = 30; in console and look whether it works.
Do you guys not REALIZE that it's still the wrong variable to change?

I was aware. I didn't want to encourage him to try to find the right one.

That is the right var
But it changes back to 20 when you want to spawn the 21'th vehicle

No, that doesn't look right. If I'm correct, there aren't supposed to be underscores in variables.

You gotta change the maxphysvehicle_total and the quota and the lan quota
But it doesnt work

Still wrong.

Kalph, it's probably best to stop giving them hints..

They wouldn't know.

So the right variable to change would be one to do with a script that sets the maxphysvehicles variable back to 20?

There is no right variable because it's not something that should be done. Ignore Blocki, it is reasonable to conclude he is an idiot. Just work around the limit like we said.

YES, it is very easy to do but it has to be done BEFORE you start the server.

See pic attached for details

Even if you make that higher, it resets it back to 20 when you host.

Alright, I'll do my best to abide by that limit, though I still think it could go a little higher.
