Author Topic: [OPINION] Is anyone else sick to death of jvs doors in dms?  (Read 1702 times)

I try to be minimul about JVS in my DMs.  I put it in areas where there's not a lot of action and there may like a secret or something.  But in high traffic areas, not good.

In some servers I've been to the door opens when you walk into it.

I feel like this would be more annoying because you have to run into the door and wait for it to open.  Seems almost more risky than putting your gun away for a second.

I like the zone idea, as long as the zone has a decent radius around the door.

You could make it so it's OnProjectileHit, but that would cost ammo.

Too bad Blockland doesn't have an extra "use" key bound.  Although idk what we'd set it to.. Most games use E but that is paint can..

Maybe X or C?

You could use your thumb.

Maybe someone can make a server mod where right click will be the activate button?

It hardly takes that much time to press Q, click then Q again.

Damnit, grasp this concept!

This thread is for people that wanna whine or complain.

It ain't the Hosts fault that you get killed trying go through a door!

I admit it's a little annoying, but not so annoying that I have to make a topic about it.

But tons of guns use right click for something.

Yes, they do.

That idea can go in the garbage.

Onplayertouch -> Self -> Contentstart

Onplayertouch -> Self -> Contentstart

What if people don't want to do this?

I still think this is a troll topic.

You seem to think that about everything.

I was just suggesting the obvious alternative. It is rather annoying that doors require holstering the weapon, when they could lead out into machinegun fire and instant death.

You seem to think that about everything.

Wrong. I do not think this about Gloss' thread or Pecon7's thread.

I am not like those people who like at everything from a negative perspective.

I admit it's a little annoying, but not so annoying that I have to make a topic about it.

See? I know it's annoying. I just deal with it.

EDIT: But it was a nice suggestion.
