I live near a cemetary, so it puts me in a danger zone. Other than that we have like... A fire station, I guess? We have all the food and medical we'd need with four restaurant, a market, and two doctor's offices... But we'd need more weapons. The best I have to defend myself with is a dull steel katana.

No, they're a large, modern-day militia. They're the defenders if we get invaded, and they also help areas in disaster zones. There's actually a branch of the Army called the Reserve, though. Those are the guys you're talking about.
