so it's basically payday: the heist but with call of duty?

I think its supposed to be more like battlefield with rainbow six
Payday is only really referenced because it involves robbing banks in a "heist" which is basically what they'll be doing.

seems very neat though
actual heistings such as getaway chases will be badass
driving down the streets whilst shooting
they did mention people from ac2, gta iv, and gow working on the game
so it seems like it'll be very well-rounded if released

lol the funding.

no one has the ability to cough up enough money for that.  they should look for big investors.

Kickstarter is around BECAUSE they don't want to be crippled by fat cat investors.

There's a reason so many games are cookie cutter FPS games, and it's because it sells with minimal creativity. Investors stick to what works, and people are getting tired of it. This allows a community to fund a game essentially built by the target audience.

tell that to the 217 backers who have pledged $6,231 in the two days it has been up, they're also spreading the word. If you buy during the kickstarter its giving you the game for only $15 (sure you have to wait for the release but its $15 for a game thats probably gonna sell for somewhere around $60)

Well, good luck to them trying to get the money.

Seems like this is a joke.
I mean, "Police Warfare"?
I think Activision is running out of ideas, which there are many out there and they keep limiting themselves to these "real-world" generic shooter ideas and stuff.
Seroiusly, they need to start thinking out of the box.

no really, its not.

I too was disappointed in their choice of adding a extra class for the contributors but I'm sure it wont be that bad.
as I said above I'm sure it won't be THAT bad.
It's a piss poor development decision

if they're making mistakes like that this early on, i feel safer assuming this is going to be stuff than the other way around

Why do the robbers have an M16. Doesn't Elastic understand the concept of Good Guns, Bad Guns?

What's worse is that the assault class on the law enforcement side has a sub-machinegun instead of an assault rifle
