This server runs itself!All right, so here's how it works - it's pretty easy. Every round, a new artist is selected from the previous round. The artist for the new round is the person who guessed the previous drawing first. Once the artist is in the vicinity of the iPad, he may begin drawing. It is recommended that the artist selects a color from the ranged palette on the iPhone. There is over 60 colors to choose from, to allow a very creative drawing.
The people who aren't drawing are called Guessers. The Guessers are the people who quite obviously guess what the drawing is. They do this by typing their guess into regular chat and then by clicking the floor. If they are correct, they will be awarded points depending on how long the word was - this means 1 point per letter - and they will also become the artist for the round. The artist can redeem points of the same value by clicking on the blue exclamation mark when they respawn.
I've added a feature which allows the main artist to select one other artist to help them draw. This means you can draw co-operatively and you'll probably have much more fun talking to the other artist in team chat about what you're drawing. If you are the main artist and you wish to get a partner, select the yellow exclamation mark by itself on the iPad. If you want to become a partner simply by paying with points, just click the dark grey exclamation mark and you will automatically become the partner for the round. It costs 50 points.
To check your points, click the P if you are a Guesser. If you have recently guessed correctly, you will become the artist automatically. Once you are the artist, it's very simple - there are four bricks you need to know about though.
Green Exclamation Mark - Type a word from 3-20 characters in team chat. Click this brick and that will be the word for the round. If you are not happy with your selection, wait for the brick to reappear after 20 seconds.
Light Blue Exclamation Mark - Click this button to clear the drawing board.
Red Exclamation Mark - Click this button to display the word on your screen.
Orange Exclamation Mark - Click this button to surrender your turn and to become a Guesser, leaving an open spot so somebody can VOLUNTEER AS TRIBUTE
Blue Exclamation Mark - Click this button to display the round number. It will be quite a large number.
