I also hate the "Like if you think she's beautiful <3" things... I think that people that are disabled should have any more attention than the ones who don't have a thing wrong with them. My grandpa fought in Nam and watched his buddy's head be blown off right next to him and no one even praised him. Then some kid with a small cut gets all the attention. Psht its bullstuff if you ask me. Treat all the same and the world wouldn't be so loving bad.

People have this general drawing for caring for the young, and the weak. You grandfather was strong, at least back then, I hope. Therefore, nobody really cared. However, when a child gets injured, everybody swarms over them because they feel like the child is helpless, when in reality, it really isn't that bad. The child crying out in pain and for help reinforces this whole idea of children being super-important and that they should never have so much as a single scratch upon them.
