What is the point of ;wap2

If you type ;wap2 while on any part of these forums it brings up a "Simple" version.

It's mostly used when you come from Google to these forums. (It also does this on a few other forums)

The only downfall of this mode is there is no images in the topics.

Funny, I've never seen wap2 used on anything except my computer from Google.
