Author Topic: what are your guys' opinions on dubstep?  (Read 4377 times)

It's alright, not my favorite kind of music though.

i've heard one, maybe two songs that could be considered "dubstep" and aren't complete stuff

How many songs have you heard?

I wouldn't classify it as music in any way.

about as many as every little stuff student with an iPod cares to blare in the halls

I wouldn't classify it as music in any way.
as a general rule. correct.

Since when was deadmau5 dubstep? Or did they release separate albums of dubstep. because I'm uninformed.

Deadmau5 is techno, right?

Deadmau5 is techno, right?
I thought so, I've seen some people refer to it as dubstep before though?
But not all techno is dubstep, as far as I'm concerned.

The history of dupstep:
Someone wanted to listen to something good so he put a CD in the player and it had a scratch and sounded weird so dubstep was born!

Happened to me before

I like Dubstep. It also introduced me to EDM as a whole.

I have a strong dislike of it and everyone who likes it is usually dumb

Glitch is better than dubstep IMO.
I still prefer music with an instrument or 8-bit music.

It's overrated. The only kind I like are some of the video game remixes. The rest is terrible.

I despise modern day techno babble, or what you refer to as "dubstep", even though it's far from what dubstep actually is.
