So, remember this topic: http://forum.blockland.us/index.php?topic=186180.0

He got the house and is moving into it with his girlfriend next weekend. We're supposed to go over and help pack the truck after this week is over.

We packed the kitchen, bathroom, some of the livingroom, the dining room, and the man-cave so far.

There is currently boxes everywhere and two whole entire rolls of bubble wrap and I'm straining myself to not start popping it. :I

So yay, I'm going to live in a victorian for half my time.

yay
your moving
i'm moving soon
From a big-ass loving house (kind-of a mansion) to an APARTMENT
:(

I don't know a thing about packing large amounts of things.. I can fit all my stuff in one or 2 box's.

Oh well you know what they say "Can't get robbed if they don't have anything to steal"

Breakables on top of soft things.
Cram it all in
Don't over pay-load the vehicle we did and it over heated
Start humping the walls because you won't see them ever again.

I'm also moving soon. From a little house to a camper.

When we lose this house our plan is to:
1. Tow that camper out here and put it on my uncles property
2. Save money for a few years
3. Buy another trailer and put that on the property
4. Wait more time and then get us a actual home.

Thanks. I don't really need any sympathy but thanks for actually caring.

I've been going through this for a while now but things are getting better. I hope your move doesn't hurt as much as mine did. When I moved I cried because that home was were I grew up and learned how to be a man and work. I remember a lot from there. The last time I seen it I took a walk through it (we still owned it but it was slowly collapsing) and while I was walking through it I ran my hands across the dry wall and all that, I walked into my room took a look around and seen all the stuff I could take with me and then I walked more down the hall and looked into the bathroom, the floor wasn't stable so I didn't walk in it, then I walked into my sisters room and seen where the floor had collapsed and there was a gaping hole in the floor.
I went through every room I could I knew that when I was walking through I was breathing in, mold, dry wall dust, dust, mildew, must, and all that harmful stuff but the 5 minute coughing and gagging was so worth seeing that place one last time.

Its being scrapped now :c I could go on but this isn't my thread. Just ask if you want more on why that house meant a lot to me
