Author Topic: BlockoNet Teaser  (Read 5350 times)

One day Brian Smith started up BlockOS (being the cool cat as he is)

Why, what is that? On the app bar. Zoom in would you.

Closer, on that app called BlockoNet.

Yeah? Whats that! Here lets click on it

Why! It seems to be an Internet Browser, for BlockOS! Neato Beneato! Here, lets type in the Address of that cool cat named Jincux

Oh wow! It seems he has a website on this marvelous app!

Coming Soon to the BlockOS App Market near you!

Except that it can only visit BlockoNet sites...

How do we get a site on blockonet

I suppose it would be possible to write a proxy.

well then you would have to convert the BBC into HTML and remove the BN tags 'n' stuff.

How do we get a site on blockonet
by default you get yourBLID.bl
but you can buy (one time payment of probably about 1-5$) custom domains like, iGotsBigrooster.bl
;)

Totally didn't just make the img tag (must be a direct link to pic) ;D
Le current to-do list:
• Automatic Adding Domains
• Multiple Pages Per Domain
• Custom Domain Shop
• Page Editor
• Save Sharing
• User Blacklist
• Few More Tags for BBC

So if I wanted to actually pay money, I could have a semi-decent website? Doesn't really seem worth the money if you ask me, but I guess its a cool feature.

You should also have websites on there by default, like some general info websites and other snazzy stuff to actually make it worthwhile. Otherwise the only point of it is to go on to see websites for the 3 or 4 servers who actually have websites.

An intranet for BlockOS would be massively awesome. Do it once and do it right Brian. I want this.

Make it so you can go on some site like blockland and stuff

So this downloads the image to the client, yes? And how about image placement?
So are these live on the internet, or are they going to be stored locally in the app?

So it uses html5?
Where on loving earth did you get this idea
