Author Topic: Am I the only one who feels bad for inanimate objects?  (Read 3313 times)

that was probably the saddest thing i have ever seen in my life
I actually started crying

THATS CUZ U CRAZY .

This is personification. You are humanizing an object.

I used to do this as a child. Felt bad for toys being left outside at night.

A similar thing called anthropomorphism is used in religion and culture. Giving human qualities to non-human things, like talking about the ocean as a conscious entity that "gets angry".

This isn't a mental problem. Maybe its moving onto the side of OCD (where you feel you have to move the object to feel better).

then i guess I have OCD I always just thought I was a perfectionist

i know that feel bro

I get kind of freaked out when the engine on my 4-wheeler races so fast the parts start hitting each other

I did at one point, then realized there made for our use, and once they cant serve us, they cant be used anymore.

HOLY JESUS IM NOT THE ONLY ONE
I LOVE YOU OP

I did when I was about 5 until I realized there was more important things than feeling bad for throwing away Mr. bubbles.
