Author Topic: Beach Landing TDM [WIP]  (Read 1654 times)

This is a TDM in which there are two teams, one defending, and one assaulting from the beach. At the moment its just a TDM, but I will refine it more.
Most of it is pretty much done, but the Attackers base is just a placeholder at the moment.

Most, if not all of the bricks are default, but the events and weapons aren't.

This uses the following addons:
  • Bushido's T+T weapons
  • Spaceguy's TDM
  • SetPlayerTransform
  • Additem events

It looks very detailed and pretty cool.

Looks very good, get rid of the boders though.

I will get rid of them, I am just unsure of what to put there instead.
Any suggestions?

Please just.. Make it look at least interesting. The colors are way too saturated and dark.

Oh dont get me wrong, The build is fantastic. Just a little sick of the same genericly colored dms.

Trying to justify a bad design decision by saying it is "realistic" is absurd. Nearly all claims that you are trying to be realistic can be debunked by the fact that you are playing as a plastic minifig in a world of plastic blocks.

Very nice but seems to be kinda little... Maybe move the attacker/enemy team base more away from the land?

try expanding out the beach more.

I agree with Pepsi, it looks way to small to actually have any real fun on it. What I would suggest is deleting those back and side barriers and build it farther out backwards and too the right. The part you have now could be the first line of defense, then make another ridge-like thing behind it with more bunkers and maybe some kind of heavy cannon or something similar. Just make sure to make it longer as well.

You might want to cut down on the detail a little bit also if you want to make it playable. Right now it just looks like something for a movie scene. Looks nice though.
