Would anyone actually use onViewing other than for Weeping Angels?

Yes!
No!
I still like trains!

Bump. Guys, I just realized that the only reason anyone seems to want onViewing is for creating Weeping Angels. However, using events to indirectly create Angels via peripheral vision is much less efficient than a script which just creates Weeping Angels directly, such as the one I already have.

So the question is, are there any other uses for onViewing that anyone can think of?

Already made and is being hosted.

Many. Just for one example, some various states of information that start when you look at a display and reset when you look away.

Could you make this work for bots?
onBotGazeStart
onBotGazeStop

Could you make this work for bots?
onBotGazeStart
onBotGazeStop

That could very easily become hell.

In chronological order:

(Notice about adding bot events)

(Request for bot events)

In other words, read the loving topic.

forget yeah, this is exactly what i asked for, the one post i leave in suggestions is made. go me.

if you use Gaze in an event and then somebody else uses it, it no longer works for the first person-  only the second

This is true of all events, I believe; it's just noticeable for ones which tend to overlap more frequently, such as onPlayerTouch. I also believe the effect ends if the second person stops triggering the event.

Nope. Even if the second guy goes off indefinitely, it still breaks. It just breaks, it's not like other events. Come and join my server, I can show you.

Sorry for the bump, but I found a bug.
With the mod enabled anything that uses a bottom print message does not show for more than a split second before being removed.

Like the duplicator how it tells you how many bricks you have duplicated at a time, the Gaze Mod makes the message go away.

I was using the mod despite this bug unaware that it was the cause. Please fix it.

Strictly speaking this is a bug in the Duplicator/other such mods, and this can happen due to client mods as well.
The cause is that they're using a bottomPrint 'glitch' where if you have a zero or negative time, the print stays on screen forever.

However, seeing as it's highly unlikely that other modders will stop using that glitch, I'll go make Gaze respect that bug.

EDIT: New download here!

So it's a bug that people intentionally add to their addons so it works better? That's kinda lame.

Thank you very much for fixing it for me.
