Author Topic: Remember the "Stop Bullying Speak Up" Challenge?  (Read 1611 times)

Pretty much a while ago some one made a thread about this website where you make comics about bullying and how to stop it.  I made a few comics and forgot about it for a while.

Today I got this email:

Hi Firecycle,

Thanks for your awesome submissions to our Comic Challenge! I wanted
to let you know that we've included 2 of them in Volume 1 of the Stop
Bullying: Speak Up Comic Anthology - a downloadable comic book
featuring our favorite submissions from the first round of the Comic
Challenge. Schools and libraries all over the country will be printing
and sharing the anthology with students - so reading your comic might
soon be someone's homework! :D

We'll be posting the anthology in the next couple of days at
www.stopbullyingcomics.com - be sure to check it out. And I hope you
make more comics for the next round of challenges coming soon!

Regards,
Shahan

The funny part is I've only made two comics :3

I know a few other blockheads made comics, did anyone else get this e-mail?

Also, discuss the website.

oh my god the example is so ugly

Wow, you actually did it right?

Impressive.

These comics...

... you feel raped after reading them. You went there for entertainment and finish reading them feeling used.

Didn't find them very funny. But I'm not sure how you can make them anything more than cheesy and boring for what it is. Not a fan of the campaigns idea, but if it helps people... whatever I guess.

Cool that yours got picked for the book though!

You shouldn't feel as used as the ones who made them.  That's who it's really aimed toward. :)
