Author Topic: Windows 7 isn't booting correctly on desktop.  (Read 440 times)

So I just got this desktop in Nov 2011. I can't get the exact spec right now. Its a HP pavillion with an AMD E-300 APU.
Sometime when I start it up, right after the "Starting Windows" loading screen, the screen just goes to a blank screen.
The cursor is still there and I can move it around and such. This problem also sometimes happens if I let the computer go to sleep mode. When I try to bring it out of sleep mode it will go to this screen, or sometimes go to a screen where I have my backround and the cursor but nothing else.

Happens to me.

Give it a minute to two

I got this once, fixed it by opening task manager and ending the 'explorer' task, then i simply started another 'explorer' task and my desktop was all there again
