Realize that Russia and US are allied.  Do they realize that South Korea could be nothing but an island if they pull anything stupid?

well 99% of the world can claim they are allies. all an ally is, is countries with military agreements, not nessisarily ones that will fight with you or help you. nor do those agreements promise you safety from each other.

but if stuff went down and it was all about war. the sides are already decided;

Russia would most likely be allied with us, Bisjac. Sure, we've had small conflict after the Cold War, though none of it was physical. We're on very good terms right now. If your saying Russia would be with china and all those other countries because they're on the same continent, then that would mean India would be with Russia and China, and Venezula would be on Brazil's side (aka ours, as said on your list)
