the next day, im hosting. he joins

Periods and capitalization are not a big deal to me. Maybe it's because i'm typing on a phone the majority of the time. But I would never confuse you're with your, their with there, etc.

I used to use "there" for each instance of "there", "they're", and "their" simply because it was easier to type. I knew the difference, but I didn't care at the time.
