They don't let them carry weapons because they don't want the drunk leprechauns to stab each other.
All that pot o' gold gets to eachother's heads

Wallet, keys, phone, earbuds, and sometimes a Glock 23.

Bad ass.

It isn't mine, but I have my conceal carry permit. I'll probably buy a 23 or 19 soon.

I'd bet that given a standard robbery scenario, most people here wouldn't be willing to try to use that knife anyway. A typical police safety memo would advise you to avoid getting robbed by walking in safe areas, not by carrying a weapon.

stuff happens that you can't avoid sometimes even walking in "safer areas". I see no reason not to carry a weapon. With the right for an individual to carry a concealed carry license or knife, crime rates decrease rather than increase. But with the restrictions increased, the demand for illegal weaponry goes up and it basically disarms the citizens and arms the robbers.

>What's in your pocket

Braced myself for the dozens of people saying knives, lol.
Seriously who are you trying to fight with a knife.

Yup. Even where I live can be a danger area.
Even though I was out at 2am with my cousin and we could walk on the highway without a soul to be seen.

Big dude/other dude with a knife.

Guns are far more practical than knifes. I'm not saying I'll ever shoot anyone, but if I'm ever in a situation where I need protection, a knife will provoke them... If they see it. The sight of a gun will scare them away.

It's better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it

Chances are you don't know how to use a knife and he does. What're you going to do? Sword fight him?

How do you know that I don't know how to use a knife? I got my first one when I was like 5 so I would imagine I know how to.

Oh, right, you're a hillbilly.

So because you were irresponsibly given a weapon since you were 5 that means you know how to use them?
