I went to the Montgomery Zoo, along with the majority of my Biology class, and another teacher's Biology and Zoology classes
altogether, I think 114 students went, out of the 120 cap
we were gone almost the entire school day
homeroom starts at 7:40, and we leave for 1st block at 7:55. at that time, everyone going went to the back of the school where the buses normally go to pick students up and drop them off, was told which bus to get on, and then got on their assigned bus. we actually left at about 8:15, and arrived at the zoo around 9:30. after all the zoo happened, we left at 1:30 and got back somewhere near 2:45. school ends at 3:09. (idk why it's nine minutes after)
every student was put into a group with a chaperone. I don't know how many groups there were, but I was put in my teacher's group. I didn't mind, she's preferable to any of the other adults. she also sat next to me on the bus for both trips. that wasn't a problem either, she's nice.
also, someone had alcohol on one of the buses. don't know why, it can't be that hard to wait until you get home to be a little friend.
so what happened at the zoo
it's pretty simple, animals were there
Montgomery Zoo named each section of the zoo after the countries the animals in it were from
my group went to each in the order of: Asia, Africa, North America, South America, and Australia.
so, that's what I did today
also the ocelots were the best
