offline option?

i may have imagined this, but wasn't there a forum option that made it look like you were offline, even if you were online? it basically didnt update your last time logged in, and it always said you were offline. did this forum have that button or did i imagine that?

So what you want is an online status toggle, showing whether online, away or (appear) offline that the user chooses?
For what purpose, its not like your going to get spammed every time you come online is it?
