Author Topic: Solar Charger for the Ipod touch  (Read 708 times)

Anyone know of a good one for under $40?

Probably one on ThinkGeek.

I only found it by Googling exactly what you had in the OP. Learn to use Google.

He's asking if anyone knows of a good one, not 'does anyone know of one'

It has generally good ratings.

This, I've seen people complain about solar chargers similar to this, they don't charge fast enough apparently.

It has generally good ratings.

Yeah, it has good ratings moron.

Good ratings ≠ good product for my needs specifically.

Haha, I knew ThinkGeek had one.

Only problem is it's $45.

it has good seller ratings - seller ratings aren't item ratings.

it has 2 and a half stars on amazon

I just asked a mate of mine who camps a lot and he said there's one called a freeloader something that is good

of course it won't charge fast.  if you want it to charge fast you need more solar panels with you, which a little pocket kit like that won't have.  even then it's absolutely useless unless you're the kind of person that uses your phone constantly, burning the battery hour by hour.

Well, I am going to a condo in mexico and want something to entertain myself on the car trip, also, the car we are taking is old so it doesn't have one of those ports to charge things.
