Author Topic: Someone on Gravity Cat's Server Fakeing My Chat  (Read 3423 times)

Alright, So I'm playing Gravity Cats, And Some friend decides to Fake the Chat of ME, And a few chats of Mr.Jacksaunt.

And Im pissed because he's making me say all kinds of stuff, First it started with spamming ChatMsgAll with red spam but then i get upset and he/she starts faking MY name, Heres some of the things that happened.

Also, If you don't believe me and think it was just me attention whoreing then Look at first screenshot. Theres no way i could have spammed like that without Admin.

Proof, Because it didn't show in my Client Console. (I have a Special ChatLogger that plays the message in the client console)

If i find out who it is i will Post. Im sorry for no name.

Note to, Gravity Cat.

Please, Get Event Restrictions and do it to the MiniGame>MsgAll events.

That would be Gravity Cat using the console.

These are the times where I stress myself on not have the indulgence of admin.
(steam chat with gravity cat)

No. Its the OnActivate>MiniGame>ChatMsgAll then color codes.

Mhmm
That could be true too
But they use the clan tags too

Somebody was fakeing your chat?
If I knew what fakeing meant, I could help you.
OT: I wonder who was doing that.

Title thread should be, "Gravity Cat sucks at selecting addons" because it's pretty much entirely his fault, as the sole enforcer of the server's rules.

Not saying the person doing it shouldn't get banned, but we can kill much more birds with one stone by just convincing the host to restrict use/disable mini game events.

He has been offline from steam for an hour.

he has offended me
anybody who offends sheep will be tortured until their eye-sockets fall out of their eyeballs

offline from steam =/= offline from BL

I don't think you understand how it works.

People fake chat messages by copying the syntax of the message system using hexadecimal color values (notated by <color:#000000>) so to properly fake clantags all you would need to do is determine the corresponding RGB value for the color of the clan tags and apply it to the first section of text.

Oh look. More victims.

This one is funny because White Wolf already left.

Seriously?

offline from steam =/= offline from BL
He lives in Germany. I was having a lively chat with him and then he went offline.
Plus he wouldn't want to drive away people from his server.
