Author Topic: You know what'd suck? If your computer lost internet permanently on July 9...  (Read 1353 times)

So, some hackers have been going around the interbutts hacking people's computers and changing their DNS server to their own rogue servers, meaning that if you wanted to go to YouTube.com, they could send you to a fraudulent YouTube with ads for THE HACKERS, meaning they earned 14 million from the hack. After the FBI arrested them, they realized if they shut down the servers, probably more than 570,000 victim computers worldwide would be without a DNS server, so the FBI set up a legitimate, clean server system in the hackers' place. However it's too expensive for them to keep it up forever, so IT IS TEMPORARY. IF YOU ARE INFECTED, YOU WILL LOSE INTERNET ON JULY 9.

Did someone have a bad dream?
No. I just don't want people to have to buy new computers. I don't hate the community. (not that much anyway)
