Talk to Ringo about refueling the ship

Also lets check Menen's Inventory. Maybe we can make something

Place hand to awkwardly fit in the key thingy.

Might I suggest asking Ringo about the engine room, refueling the tank, and maybe about how to operate the console etc?

Also, Menen is right.  Check Menen's inventory.

: So Ringo, how exactly does this submarine work?
: Well all sorts of crazy mechanical nonsense. George is the mechanic, I just fill 'er up.
: Oh. Well how exactly do I do that?
: You open the fuel tank. Seems to be stuck at the moment.
: Does the missing key in the console have anything to do about it?
: Probably. That key unlocks the fuel tanks.
: Do you know where I could...find it?
: Ask John.
: Thanks for the help, I guess.

Try to find John and talk to him.

I read that as

I READ THAT AS COGNITIVE CONDOMS

:derp:

Try to find John and talk to him.

You have set yourself on a quest: you must find John Lennon! You step out into the hall and find that Marc has fallen asleep.
((I'm so horribly horribly lazy I'll stop it.))
