I'm anxious with the pricetag but the GlassBox engine videos look promising at the detail they're finally putting in.  As always I'll be looking closely.  Wonder if they'll give a recommended requirements later on though, because I'd love to know that.

what kind of multiplayer is it?
if its lan and friendslist only, then i dont know if i wanna spent 70 bucks, ill wait 6 months.
but if its got a multiplayer server and i may have random neighbors, i may get it.

I'd much rather have friends play but I think it'll be open for both.

will be stuff because Will Right quit...

It's too bad. Will Wright was a true bro imo.

the economy of the different cities influences things in your city, to roughly quote them, "real cities don't exist in a vacuum where they are completely unaffected by events in other cities."
I believe that means there will be some kind of world economy, involving trading between player's cities and such.
Now, it's worth noting that the game requires a constant internet connection, which sucks for a lot of people.

Dodger, talks about it on her show: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L6EMbytI7ao

There was a networked version of Simcity 2000
I wonder if anyone still has it lol

From the description it's hard to tell how much better than societies this is going to be.

Glassbox Engine is the only reason I will buy this.

I have always loved Sim City.

This better make up for SimCity DS.

It's looks frikkin sweet so far.
The forget? I loved the DS version, and you can't be angry at a mobile game. They're all stuff pretty Much

It will use the city planning stuff from SC4 and it will use the glass box engine that make the game kinda run like societies, only a lot more advanced.

This game requires a lot more strategy telling by the Glass Box demos.

I guess there's nothing wrong with them trying to find a good middle ground between SC4/Societies.

It think the way that they're mixing it is great. Thank god for Maxis...
