Mentally deranged children do not deserve the same treatment as normal people. That is why children like Akian are shoved into these special classes to begin with. It's merely a means to keep them separated from the rest of functioning society because unfortunately we can't outright remove them permanently.
You do not understand the stress that special education teachers' jobs put them through. You would smack and talk down an animal if they acted out of turn; autistic children are the same.
The purpose is not to isolate them and keep them out of touch with society; if anything, that's the worst thought that anybody could have about ESE/ESOL classes.
I also do know the stress that special education teachers go through, because my aunt was one for 15 years. Not once did she lash out at her students. NOT ONCE. Saying that a teacher would deliberately verbally and physically abuse a child for their mental state is absolutely ridiculous.
