Author Topic: Man sends boy to school with wire on - Discovers teachers bullying son  (Read 11554 times)

this guy doesn't know how stuff works. public schools can't fire teachers because they are basically government workers, and a lot of them are in unions.
What he can do is tell everyone, then nobody will send their kids to that school, and then the school will be screwed.

you can't "not send your kids to school." keeping kids from school is illegal and the reason most of the kids are in a public school and not a private one, is because they either can't afford or can't reach the nearest private school with an autism program.

In NJ you can pay to have your kid sent to another public school if youd like, but obviously many wont be able to afford it.

Where did I say to not send your kids to school? Also, something like this will have ALL parents getting their kids out of there, not just parents of autistic kids.

They can also file complaints with this school. As soon as a majority of parents start to complain, schools quake in their boots.

edit: Also, does this count as a type of discrimination? Which is illegal in all public schools.

count, you say "take them out of that school" as if they have a plethora of options. if they are in public school and autistic, it's likely they are there for a reason, not just because "oh, it was close." schools can get their funding cut, but they still can't fire teachers. firing a teacher is something that goes on with school boards ect ect.

So what are you suggesting a parent do? Just give up on this?

i'm not suggesting anything, i'm just explaining that you can't get teachers fired without going to higher administration. if you go to the principal and he doesn't show his superiors to get the teacher fired, the teacher won't get fired unless the superiors are contacted.

Isn't withholding behavioral information from the school district against the law?

I have autism and I'm in a special class too.

Except mine doesn't have some forgeted up teacher who...bullies kids?
Why wasn't she fired?

I have autism and I'm in a special class too.

Hahaha-  Just kidding.  You seem absolutely normal on the forums, so who would know unless you told them?

This kid seems worse off, and the rest of the video makes me sick.

You're much higher functioning than this kid.

You don't seem like it.

What if I told you that I'm also autistic?

What if I told you that I'm also autistic?
Id believe it

Id believe it

Yes, but I'm not asking you.
Now sit down and put your hand up before answering the question
