Port, would you agree that a quality item is one that does what it is made to do well?

Don't know about port's opinion, but I agree on that, AND it must be well made. Compare a reloading, fully animated, with ammo system, weapon, to a "weapon" made of a cube that flings spheres with no sound or animations whatsoever. What's more qualitative? And then again, what's more fun? The answer is the quality gun.

Quality is objective, fun is subjective

I find guns and deathmatches boring as hell but certainly I could see that the build is quality or an item is well-coded, these things simply hold no appeal to me because we already have well in excess of enough of both.

Your second mention can be fun in specific circumstances.

A cube that shoots spheres sounds like a bundle of fun to me because it doesn't try to evoke any feelings of LOOK A WEAPON it just shoots spheres and is a cube. Make the spheres bounce, give them a big, unrealistic explosion with lots of knockback and very little damage for maximum chaos and build an arena based around gaining extra points for knocking players through hoops/into specific targets. Sounds like a bunch of fun and doesn't even sound like a deathmatch.

Things that do not presume upon serious themes are more likely to be fun than things that do not; I believe this to be a fact.

This is a game

Games are meant to be fun

If it is not fun, it is not a good game.
Quote from: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Game
A game is structured playing, usually undertaken for enjoyment and sometimes used as an educational tool. Games are distinct from work, which is usually carried out for remuneration, and from art, which is more often an expression of aesthetic or ideological elements. However, the distinction is not clear-cut, and many games are also considered to be work (such as professional players of spectator sports/games) or art (such as jigsaw puzzles or games involving an artistic layout such as Mahjong, solitaire, or some video games).
Key components of games are goals, rules, challenge, and interaction. Games generally involve mental or physical stimulation, and often both. Many games help develop practical skills, serve as a form of exercise, or otherwise perform an educational, simulational, or psychological role.

In regards to the topic title...

Isn't that essentially just ordering the servers by alphabetical order? Other than that I cannot decipher what the OP is talking about.

I don't get why most people hate Rp'ing in general. Most Rp's are a huge success, and some of the hosts are kids, This is a Lego game mainly for sheer entertainment, stuff man i may be 15 but still, i like a decent RP/Zombie server every once in a while.

Why don't you just be creative and make your own server.

QFT. I don't get why RPs are so hatred. They maybe are less deep and complex than RPGs, but that necessarily isn't a bad thing. What matters is that the lads on a server are fun and nice. Fun for me is hanging around with nice people, depending on the server working together and to socialize. For me, Blockland is a game where the social aspect is so extremely huge that it can be fun hanging around on a server and just talk while building something. Quality is a thing that's needed for fun in a certain scale, too much ruins the fun, not enough and it gets boring pretty fast.

RPs: Self explanatory utter stuff.

You're an idiot.

I hate how RPs have such a bad reputation... But I can certainly understand why :/

my cityrpg, anyone?

It'll involve some serious roleplay.
•Mayor elections and complex taxation/welfare
•Players are knocked unconcious when "killed" so that they may be revived by paramedics. (five minute death time unless revived)

and lots of more cool stuff, coming soon

(in other words, actual role play)
