I'd like to see:

>References to other games (Seeing a Goteki 45 billboard on a track, for example.)
>things for older fans (rocket racer classic skin, anyone?)
>More unique frames (rather than stat changes, they have totally different handling, some even run on anti-gravity)
>Triple soundtrack (one is a more kiddy one, closer to the original, another is a set of songs like the ones in the OP(this mix of louder is better), and the third is your own playlist, a la WipEout's custom soundtrack feature)
>A more "official racing leauge" feel to some of the tracks (think WipEout 2048)
>CUSTOM TRACKS

I have a copy of Lego Racers somewhere, still worked last time I used it.

I still have this game.
It doesn't work, but maybe I can get it working with some patches and stuff.

Insert d3drm.dll in the Lego Racers folder
The only libraries of DirectX that are mainly updated in 10+ are the 3D binaries, which will need to have a substitute in the folder as the application should it be in need of an older one.

I also just found the copy and it works <3

Here's a Rather Serious Update;

For LEGO to further expand their Target audience, I would suggest they use more Mature Content (Swearing, Serious stuff etc.), because not only do kids use LEGO, but Teenagers and even some Adults. Children do mostly use the toy, But LEGO should also consider their Older audiences as well. Here's an Example of the humor of the LEGO Star Wars Games -

There's nothing wrong with it, but mixed in with the slapstick should be some more serious Humor. Wouldn't It be nice to see some Portal Style humor as well?
