I'm just as bad as them, but I find a lambda to be a better symbol.

Hey hey I'm an American citizen too, and I also did say "most". What I said is based on observation, I'm not following any bandwagon. Maybe you are partly correct on how it is a human trait, but Americans are the guiltiest of this. I've been to many places around the world, and I have concluded that Americans have a tendency to not help for free/ try to avoid helping if it causes them trouble. Not all Americans of course, I'm sure you, and many others are very honorable people.
