Help me convince my parents to let me get a hedgehog.

Who wouldn't want one? I know if I ask my parents they will say no, but they are just sooo awesome. They have them at a pet store here now and I plan on getting one (hopefully). I am going to make a power point to convince my mom with the reasons why I want one and why I am capable to take care of it. Does anyone have any ideas?

Word of advice: hedgehogs are very prone to disease, and sometimes require a lot of extensive and constant care. I wouldn't necessarily get one until you have a lot of free time on your hands where you can monitor it.
