dem ugly flashes!!!

Just some stuff I like from my years worth stuff so far.

[snip]

Take note as the days progress I'm learning how to use my camera more and more everyday!
I think you're slowly improving. I'll write you some more detailed critique tomorrow.

Thank you, I really do appreciate the help!

Is that all...?
There's not really much else to say. They're boring, close up pictures of your drum kit taken with your pop-up flash.

Took these a few days ago, some of my favorite.

How much does the 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 suck?

Not to bad if you are in daylight, but inside, and bad lighting it is a nightmare.

Is really the only one I liked.

The others make some interesting perspective, however.

I have done maybe ~50% of my commercial work with the Nikon 18-55 (usually add a flash, though) and probably 95% of the creative stuff I post with it. It's all about how you use it, and to a certain extent how you edit the pictures.

If you put a decent speedlight on top of the set-up it becomes very viable inside, even in very dark settings. But ya, good luck trying to use it w/out anything besides ambient light in indoor/dark settings.

Oh god, the zoomed in shots are so grainy. I hope the others were better.
Stop using digital zoom.

i like taking pictures.
my phone has a really stuffty camera though.
