I always read the title as research Megathread, after re-reading it about 4 times I realized it did in fact say research.

It was very immature and unprofessional of you to change the name to research Megathread, Tetris. I am extremely disappointed, I thought you might be better than that. You proved me wrong, I guess.

Have you met me?

it's amazing that you found me mature and professional in the first place, lol!

Ahhh it's funny

Alright I won't watermark them, I'll just put information next to my photos on whatever website I post them on. I'm not worries about this right now, I just wanted to be sure for when I did start taking money for pictures that if they didn't pay I could tell them they couldn't use them.

Watermarks won't protect your image. Copyright will. Watermarks will only ruin your composition and immersion.
yeah, watermarks are douchey and un-needed. even your name in the corner is bad.

anything you create is automatically your property and not available for use by others, stamping your name on it won't change that. if someone uses it, THEN deal with it. rather than ruining your work to begin with.
I personally hate watermarks myself, but there is a time and place for them. You need to understand that the general public doesn't understand copyright laws at all, and many people will steal images with no remorse. A reasonable watermark doesn't actually do much to prevent theft (it can easily be cropped out) but it at least reminds people that the work belongs to someone else. At age 16 duke 838 might not even be to even take legal action to enforce his copyright.

tip:

don't watermark like this

Really? What about my parents would that work?

Actually I might be wrong, but no matter what people won't take a 16 year old as seriously.

True that.

Day 102 I've seen a million pictures like this before, I just wanted to try it out myself I don't think it turned out that great.

I'm taking digital photography in school. here's some of my pics.

Good ol' Arizona :c

Yo, where do you live?

i don't know

It was never "research megathread"

everyone just keeps reading it wrong

I posted a picture of the negative of the one on the right a page back, I took another one and scanned both of them so I could "develop" them in photoshop.

read: invert colors and slight retouch on blemishes.

If you have a legal case, you have a legal case.
