The photo on the left kind of makes you feel cold in a way, and the one on the right as a warm feeling to it, because of the heated orange colour. It almost seems warm inside the lamp as opposed to the coldness of the darkness that surrounds it.

You're just not creative enough to realize that
late reply to this but are you serious lol just because its your photo doesnt make it good

Are you serious lol just because you may be a bit more talented at photography doesn't mean that everyone else's photos are bad. Just because it isn't your photo doesn't mean that it's bad.

I think it's good and I don't give a stuff what you think about it

Pretty, pretty light trails~

I don't typically like light trail pictures, but you did it right in the second one, for sure. Most light trail pictures are like "derp look if you open your shutter for 30 seconds and use a flashlight you can draw stuff with it" but that's actually an engaging composition and a creative idea. I dig it.

Thank-you, it's appreciated [:

Yeah, it's a shame to see light trails being so abused. Because I do a lot of urbex and stuff in abandoned locations, I use a shutter release. In the first photo, I learnt I could capture a pretty cool texture and the curve of the drain had a nice flow of focus, so I got my partner to run down it while spiraling her flashlight for something a bit different. The cement got a really nice glossy texture to it, and the flow of focus is interesting.

I've got a couple others, but slightly different, if you're interested

Thought I may as well post these, too~

The first one was just me experimenting and setting things up, so nothing too fancy.
Second one is a similar concept, except the flashlight was strobing.
The last one the person is moving away from the camera, and it makes some interesting stripes. I also like how you can faintly see her shadow obscuring the light a little.

Second one is the strongest of those three, methinks. The best part is that you can actually see the spots where the flashlight was landing on the outside of the tunnel. Could stand to be a bit brighter, though. Perhaps a larger aperture or higher ISO?

Yeah, I was playing around with those ones so they're obviously not as finely tuned.
They needed a bigger ISO, for sure.
