Author Topic: Server cannot verify my ID?  (Read 2099 times)

I have never had this problem before until not too long ago:

Down the bottom, my key verifies fine.
I've tried putting my key in again,
I've tried deleting key.dat and putting my key in again.

Any idea what's going on and how I fix this or what I may have broken/done wrong to incur this?

maybe someone else has your key O_o

I have no idea how they could have gotten it...

Keylogger?  :cookieMonster:
Okay, bad joke.

Have you tried joining another server?

*a different server that is

It definitely mean someone else has your key. Me and my brothers had this problem when we were new to Blockland. We all shared one key, and when ever someone changed a name the others could not join any other server. We got the same message on our screen.

Just to make sure, I tested this on two computers.

First I got on a random server using my name Capt'n

Then going on another computer I changed my name to Test And went on to a different server.

Going back to the computer with Catp'n I got out of that server and tried to join another random server.

The same Message popped up.

Someone has your Key and changed your name.

Quick Fix -- Re-change your name, get on a server and stay there. When I changed my name to Test, Capt'n did not get kicked out of the server.

That's what I found, hope it helps. Sorry for grammar and spelling.

Righto, I'll give that a shot :/

No change ><
This is why I left the server you were on, Captn, the bot wars thing...
D:

That message can also randomly happen for no reason.
OR
A noob was SA and the server had eval, and he typed
$findclientbyname(Blah).delete("Server could not verify your Blockland ID");

But captn no doing this i believe

This is happening with all servers.

Even RtB:

Actually, I have a second key. I'll log on and test that.

Until then, keep throwing suggestions at me?

Thanks fr your help so far, guys s:

Reinstall Blockland
If nothing helpy, PM Badspot?

Actually, don't want to try a different key seeing as I don't have my current one written down right now and I lost the recovering email for it...
