Need help with a Knife trick.

Simple. I'm wondering how you manage to actually flip a Balisong knife over your thumb in a Y2K/Zen Rollover.

I know what all the Video tutorials are getting at, Im just having trouble with getting the knife to roll over your thumb.
Any tips please?

I don't really know how to explain something that I do without thinking about it. In fact, maybe you're thinking about it too hard?

Let the momentum take it's course- let the knife go and a half a second/second later, grab it quick. It should be on it's safe side. Use tape and practice.
