Author Topic: What's it like to be drunk?  (Read 3149 times)

If you're with a group of best friends you might get some pusillanimous individual, other than that everything is funny and your friends like to cuddle with eachother. People get really luvvyduvvy when they're drunk.

Getting drunk can lead to a large variety of problems. It damages your brain, can cause long term memory loss, and if you keep getting drunk, you will become an alcoholic (inb4youdon'tsay). You know what they say. Once an alcoholic, always an alcoholic.

Alcoholics can develop a neurological disorder called Wernicke-Korsakoff syndrome, which can result in a loss of neurons in some parts of the brain ... the disorder isn't caused by the alcohol itself. It's the result of a deficiency of thiamine, an essential B vitamin. Not only are severe alcoholics often malnourished, extreme alcohol consumption can interfere with the body's absorption of thiamine.
Getting casually drunk isn't a problem, becoming an alcoholic is

i can't say i have any more fun while drunk that i do not drunk. usually the fun is the fact that everyone is drunk and can't hold their friggn' liquor for the life of them.

Oh wow lol
"I AM GOD" *2 mins later*

My friend says he's part irish.
He obviously doesn't drink enough to be Irish.

Depends what you're drunk on. If you drink gin, you'll be socially drunk for a few hours and then go blackout drunk and stumble. If you're drinking beer, you'll just get sick, if you're drinkin whiskey, you'll get very dizzy. If you're drinking vermouth you'll have a social experience.
