There's not really a way to play any character successfully. The Binding Of Isaac is like the D6. You could roll and get The Poop.
You could roll and get Mom's Knife. You could roll and get Bloody Lust. It's a gamble. Always.

Activate the Curse ASAP and keep it running at all costs

Trade all of your hearts to the Devil if possible

Avoid unidentified pills and the Sun card unless you have no heart containers or have a way to get rid of any potential hearts from Full Health or Health Up pills

OH MY GOD I'M DOING AN EVE RUN

I CAN'T TAKE DAMAGE :OOOO

I activated the curse right away, and now...I'm starting to notice...My health is at zero. i have 3 faith hearts. And I just fought krampus...I took no damage from him. Nothing happened when I got hit.

I'm tempted to play just for the chance to come across UltraPride but I know I'll just end up taking another screenshot of my overpowered character after the Cathedral boss not holding the Polaroid and rant about it

Pretty sure they're all Isaac, just with different outfits and things.
